6 years $24 million...$4 million cap hit. I see this contract similar to Parise's 2nd contract. Could be decent value in a few years. Little high in the short term though.

Yay finally. I feel confident in saying that if we are to make the playoffs a lot of it is gonna rely on Henrique and Zajac's play. If they struggle we are gonna struggle.

could be a steal or overpayment. Fairly risky contract but not a huge risk. If he does suck at least he is young still and could probably be traded. I have faith he rebounds this year though. Kids got a ton of heart/work ethic and he has some good natural talent to go along with it.

Good, give brunner a good short term deal and we've got a good team for the year...I've always liked the balanced 4 line attack better than the superstar forwards devils anyways

Josefson and Tedenby need to show something during camp otherwise they should start in the AHL. I'm tired of giving these guys spots because we spent 1st round picks on them.

It really won't have any effect on JJ or Lokti as they are centers. As it stands right now Josefson may start in the AHL. Tedenby it would impact but there's a good chance he doesn't make the team anyway.

woohoo! For better or worse (I'm optimistic about both of them), we're set at center for the foreseeable future. Good to have some type of core coming together now that we have ownership stability.

Next step is to let Larsson prove himself this year and go through this whole process again with him next summer.
